CLAUDIA MENDOZA

Claudia Mendoza, M.Ed. is an elementary school principal, a mom of two CUSD alumni, and a local small business owner who brings over 30 years of experience as an educator to the board. She looks to expand CUSD’s partnerships with local businesses, make decisions that are student-centered, and bring her longtime educational and administrative expertise to the board.

ZEYNA PRUZHANOVSKY

Zeyna Pruzhanovsky, M.Ed. is a teacher on the Gila River Indian Community, a mom of two recent CUSD alumni, and a dedicated volunteer within the district! She desires to bring her teacher’s perspective and business mindset to the Governing Board to improve learning outcomes and expand mental health resources for our students and educators.

BARB MOZDZEN

Barb Mozdzen is an experienced CUSD Governing Board Member, having volunteered on the board for 15 years! She is also the mom of three CUSD alumni, who thrived in the academic and athletic programs at our CUSD schools. Under Barb’s leadership, CUSD’s student outcomes have improved, quality schools have contributed to robust economic growth, and families have enjoyed world-class education in CUSD.
