Public schools districts in Arizona, including CUSD, are losing teachers and struggling to hire more. I understand these struggles firsthand as a teacher on the Gila River Indian Community. I will support continuing to make our teachers' pay and benefits competitive and working with Arizona's universities to build a college to CUSD pipeline.

I plan to continue expanding a legacy of excellence by promoting student safety, supporting our educators, uplifting our families, and preparing 21st century graduates who are ready for their next educational or career steps.
